The Chinese Grand Prix is a Formula One World Championship event that has been contested every year since 2004 at the Shanghai International Circuit, Shanghai. Of the 16 occasions on which a Grand Prix has been held in China, the first five were held towards the end of the season. From 2009, the event has been one of the first races of the season.
History[]
The 2020 edition of the Grand Prix was postponed on February 12, due to the COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) epidemic in China.[1]
