Fernando Alonso Díaz (born 29 July 1981) is a Formula One driver currently driving for Ferrari, having previously driven for Minardi, Renault (twice) and McLaren. He is generally considered to be one of the best drivers currently in Formula One, and is best known for winning two world championships in 2005 and 2006, and for almost winning it in 2010.
